Olympic Talent Search
Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) wants #Youfor2032. This Saturday the 18th March, QAS are looking for young people with the raw athletic talent to succeed in one of our target sports. You don’t need to have experience in one of these sports to apply – in fact we are looking for those with skills and abilities that can be transferred into a new sport!
This talent search is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step outside of your comfort zone and explore new athletic challenges with the support of the Queensland Academy of Sport and National Sporting Organisations.
Maximise your opportunity to find your ideal pathway in elite sport through Queensland Academy of Sport’s #Youfor2032 Talent Identification Program. In partnership with Sports, the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is on a mission to systematically
unearth and develop Queensland’s most talented athletes and prepare them for success in 2032 through Australia’s largest multi-sport talent identification program, Youfor2032.
Youfor2032 stretches right across Queensland to find athletes with extraordinary elite potential who could achieve medal success in 2032.
Youfor2032 is about opportunity, choices and never any guarantees. The QAS want to provide aspiring young Queenslanders with an opportunity to see how good they could be in a professional setting under the guidance of expert staff.
No prior experience needed, QAS are looking for those with raw talent and transferable skills into a new sport.
If you are between 13 and 23 years old (Olympic) or 13 and 30 years old (Paralympic) and have the desire to compete at the highest level of sport, this program is made for you.
This talent search is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for aspiring athletes to step outside of their comfort zone and explore new athletic challenges with the support of the QAS and National Sporting Organisations.
The QAS Talent Team will commence year two of the #Youfor2032 Talent Identification Program in Cunnamulla on the 18th March, and then onto other regional locations across Queensland. During these visits, talented young athletes will have the opportunity to show off their skills.
