Exhibition of Racing Memorabilia - Request for Assistance

On 19th September the VRC will bring the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour to Cunnamulla and as part of this event the Art Gallery at the Visitor Information Centre will hold an exhibition of local horse racing history. It is planned to have the exhibition in place by early September to allow plenty of time for everyone to view and appreciate the Paroo Shire’s long and colourful participation in the horse racing industry. The Cunnamulla Fella Regional Gallery has a number of items for the display but would love to borrow any trophies, photos or other memorabilia including photos of attendance at the Melbourne Cup that members of the community may have. If you have any items we could include in the exhibition, please contact Ian or Tricia at the Cunnamulla Fella Visitor Information Centre on 07 4655 8470.
