Request for Tender - Management of the Cunnamulla Swimming Pool
Paroo Shire Council (the Council) invites tenders from appropriately qualified businesses for the management of the Cunnamulla Swimming Pool on an outsourced basis. The Swimming Pool Complex consists of a 50-metre pool, Children’s paddle pool, amenities blocks, BBQ covered area, and a kiosk. The Council may need to negotiate some additional operation arrangements with the Successful Tenderer.

The Swimming Pool Management Agreement for this Facility will be for a three (3) year fixed term during the operational months of September and May each financial year. The Council reserves the right in its sole discretion to offer two (2) additional one (1) year extension options to the Successful Tenderer.
Tenders will be assessed in large part based on the management fee sought and the benefits offered to the community by each tenderer.
Council reserves the right to assist the Successful Tenderer’s Workers to obtain the relevant qualifications required to manage the facility.

Tenders are to be lodged either by,
- hand to 49 Stockyard Street, Cunnamulla Qld 4490 or by
- Registered post addressed to Paroo Shire Council, PO Box 75, Cunnamulla Qld 4490. Envelopes must be marked “Tender SP1/2024 – Management of the Cunnamulla Swimming Pool”, or by
- Email to council@paroo.qld.gov.au with the subject line of “Tender SP1/2024–Management of the Cunnamulla Swimming Pool”.
Incorrectly addressed tenders may not be accepted.
Canvassing of any Paroo Shire Council staff or Councillors will disqualify Tenderers from the tender process.
The Council reserves the right not to accept any tender.
