COMMUNITY CONSULTATION ON ROAD NAME CHANGE

Gandagari Murrawarri Aboriginal Corporation (GMAC) is proposing to change the naming of Jobs Gate Road to Murrawarri Way. The name chosen reflects descriptions that respect cultural views from the traditional owners of the land.
Paroo Shire Council is seeking community consultation on the proposed road name change. If you wish to participate please email your comment to beatrice.callegher@paroo.qld.gov.au or post it to Paroo Shire Council, Po Box 75, Cunnamulla, QLD 4490 by Friday, 17th September 2021. Alternatively, written comments can be returned to the front counter of the Shire Council Office.
