Cunnamulla Fella Festival goes to the city - this Thursday 7 March
This Thursday morning, 7 March, at Reddacliff Place in the heart of Brisbane City, the famous characters and colour of Queensland’s iconic Outback will take over in celebration of 2019 being the Year of Outback Tourism and to showcase the year’s incredible event calendar.
More than 20 different event organisations, shires and local groups, from Longreach to Winton, Paroo, Birdsville, Roma, Cunnamulla, and Charleville will travel to Brisbane for the event, with the event square full of the characters and colours of Outback Queensland!
To make things even more exciting, Channel 7's Sunrise will be crossing live to Reddacliffe Place seven times during the morning! Make sure you tune in at 7.30am to see the Cunnamulla Fella Festival's live cross!
Cunnamulla's world-famous Saddle Bronc cowboy and famed Indigenous horseman, Angus Mitchell will be there on his beloved rodeo horese, as well as the Boulia Camel, a whip cracking goanna, cowboys from the Isa Rodeo, LIVE MUSIC from band Open Season, an original Cobb & Co wagon, the world famous Outback Racing Loo and the racing team, an Outback BBQ hosted by much-loved chef Matt Golinski serving up Cunnamulla's own Warrrego Butchery sausages!
